KESHO is growing and sponsoring more students each year in response to the needs of families in Kilifi. They're cheering us on all the way....

A Social Return on Investment (SROI) was conducted this year on Kesho and gave a very high return on investment of £18 of social value for every pound invested. The survey helped to understand the short and long-term impact of the secondary school programme.

361 children have been sponsored by Kesho since we started in earnest in 2005.

Our Achievements

Kesho sponsored secondary students perform well above average compared to their peers.

Kesho graduates are going on to great things - 50% are now studying for a degree or a diploma. Compare this with the
district average of 10%.

116 nursery and primary children are currently sponsored through school and receiving extra reading support through Kesho.

Since 2010 we have distributed 560 kg of stable food stuffs donated from the District Commissioner of Kilifi, plus 11 mosquito nets and 8 mattresses to 11 families of children being sponsored by Kesho. All our students have been recipients of many clothes, toothbrushes and pens and pencils donated to us by lots of our friends. Thank you!
