The sky's the limit
Like young people everywhere, after secondary school, some KESHO students are simply bursting for an opportunity to broaden their horizons and explore the world; and why not!
By providing an opportunity for such students to travel / volunteer overseas in the UK for up to 12 months makes an enormous difference to the students themselves and their families.
Our first student arrived in a UK school in October '08 and proved not only to be an asset to the hosting school, but also a great ambassador for Kenya and KESHO. Upon her return in July '09 she said "I feel I can talk to anyone now, talk to people from all over the world, and look them, confidently, in the eye."
Our second student set off on a similar adventure on 20th May, 2010. A very well earned experience - we know he'll make the most of the opportunity. Thanks especially to Sidcot School and Okehampton Rotary Club for supporting this great programme.
